My wife and I recently purchased a table from Jorey and we couldn’t be happier. The entire process was easy and stress free. We had the leg dimensions/angles built around our existing chairs. Which he confirmed with 3D models. When he delivered and set it up I realized that I hadn’t considered the width of the legs at the end of the table. Even though this was my oversight he insisted that he remedy this issue. He had the legs taken apart and reconstructed in one day. The table is gorgeous and Jorey is pleasure to deal with. We will be buying more pieces from him and have been recommending him to everyone we know.

Jorey was incredible to deal with from start to finish. Our table was a custom piece - we wanted to replicate a table that has been in the family for 50+ years. We couldn’t be more happy with the final product. Communication was excellent throughout the process and the quality of the table is phenomenal.

Jorey hand-crafted and installed new feet for our sofa and loveseat to our exacting specifications. And we are very pleased with the result. His woodwork is beautiful, showing the grain through dark stain which matches exactly the colour of our credenza and dining room table and chairs. While this was a relatively small job, I would have no hesitation in contracting him to create large pieces of furniture like a table or a sideboard. He is without doubt a highly professional, skilled craftsman.

Our search for a live edge table took us to a couple of suppliers before we came across Jorey at Taitlin Studios. Jorey spent time educating us and going through the inventory he had on hand. When we did not find exactly what we were looking for we drove out to a sawmill that was one of his suppliers. There we found the pieces we wanted and had them shipped to Jorey to create a one of a kind table. We agreed on a timeline for completion and Jorey kept us abreast of how the table was progressing even sending us some updated photos. We met once to finalize how we wanted the pieces to compliment each other on the table. When we saw the finished table…. It is a masterpiece. Jorey is a true craftsman who does not overlook any detail. He brought out the incredible beauty in the wood. We cannot wait to start showing it off to family and friends.
